A well-known event agency asked us to produce mind-blowing creative event concepts for Adidas to host during the 2014 World Cup.
Our brief: make it big enough to fill a German town square, loud enough to attract an audience, include the option to show World Cup games on a big screen, and real footballs must be included somewhere!
We honed in on the fierce battle between teams and individuals – and so project ‘Adidas Battle’ was born! We produced a total of 3 concepts for our client: Kicker, Goal and Field.
Each concept is designed to enable public viewing, scores and social media competition through led screens surrounding the outer walls.
We think these concepts rock! And so did our client as there’s plenty of potential for product placement, as well as fun for everyone involved!
Kicker – is a massive table-top football construction, controlled live by two or more people on each side. The idea is simple – score more goals than the opposition!
Goal – uses our re-designed Ballgun, shaped like a cannon, to blast footballs at targets inside a virtual goal. Players have to be quick – as there’s a time limit to score as many points as they can, while the audience cheers them on!
Field – involves players knocking down their opposition’s targets on a football pitch with the ballgun – before scoring as many goals as they can.
