Presenting the core business of an international operating supplier of vehicle parts with a „wow“ effect at Automechanika in Frankfurt.
Concept and Implementation
Turning the insights of a car inside-out, making them visible and almost touchable to the viewer with Augmented Reality Technology. The black and white pattern on the shaped wooden model of a typical Herth+Buss vehicle is giving the impression of an unseen prototype and is used as a marker, which the AR app is depending on. The fair visitor is holding one of the four iPads – the camera facing towards the car. On the screen the inboard vehicle parts are becoming visible. Buttons on the screen are providing further information.
This technology enables the perfect overlay. It allows fascinating new glimpses into the models insight. While acting in the background, the app is providing an enhanced experience – from reality to virtual extended reality.
