At Zeiss they want to show the 3D community the capabilities of that fantastic piece of technology they’ve created. It was a simple job for us: we collected a bunch of random objects and took them to the Zeiss engineers.
For some, they stayed cool, for others, they had to adjust some settings. But in the end, their system exported us perfect photorealistic shaded 3D objects. Photometric Normals, True Albedo, Measured Reflectance, Roughness, Metallness, Dielectric F0, Subsurface Scattering… and all that 3D geek stuff included! Ready to dive into 3D production.
We had a lot of fun working with it, skipping the modeling process and instead working on creative looks for the staging.
